KOREAN CULTURE SCENE, a colorful Korean culture festival,
is taking place all around the world to promote Korean culture!
At ‘KOREAN CULTURE SCENE,’
the Korean Cultural Centers in five countries and regions
including Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, UK, and Belgium
are hosting the tour concert <Meet the world, Center of the world>.
You can enjoy a harmonious combination of various Korean rhythms and beats
in the tour concert <Meet the world, Center of the world>
taking place as part of KOREAN CULTURE SCENE between October and November 2022.
The performance teams entertaining you with Korean traditional music ‘Gugak’ and b-boying breaking
will kick off the tour concert in Thailand on October 2.
The Korean Culture Scene <Meet the world, Center of the world>
is taking place on October 2 for 60 minutes
during the Korea-Thailand Cultural Festival 2022 <Hi Thailand, Sawatdee Korea>
with the best Korean breaking teams
that will show a crossover performance with Korean traditional music ‘Gugak.’
Korean b-boying has been gaining global recognition
with many teams winning various international competitions.
To celebrate and commemorate breaking being included as an official sport in the Paris Olympics in 2024, Korean b-boying teams have joined this Korean Culture Scene Tour Concert.
The teams will put on experimental and exciting performances
that combine K-breaking and Korean traditional music ‘Gugak,’
which symbolizes the harmony between traditional Korean art and modern western art.
The breaking teams ‘M.B CREW’ and ‘BASEUS CREW’
and the traditional Gugak team ‘JeongGaAkHoe’
will stage their performances in this first Korean Culture Scene Tour Concert in Thailand.
The 16 members of the breaking teams, many of whom appeared on the JTBC program ‘Showdown’
and demonstrated their impressive dance moves, together with the 6 members of the traditional Gugak team
will delight audiences with their fantastic performances that will include 6 different stage sets.
‘M.B CREW’ received global attention when they performed some fabulous b-boying
at the closing ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games in 2018.
‘M.B CREW,’ performing as the Seoul B-Boy Crew, is one of the best b-boying crews in Korea. They have achieved success at several international b-boying competitions including ones held in France and Taiwan.
Look forward to the M.B CREW’s breaking performance using a folding fan with fusion Gugak music and their classic breaking performance with rap and K-Pop!
Another b-boying crew who joins the Korean Culture Scene Tour Concert in Thailand
is ‘BASEUS CREW’ who boast amazing talents.
‘BASEUS CREW’ is a new team created in 2021
but they have been blazing a trail and achieving great success by triumphing at many breaking competitions in Korean.
The team performed at the opening ceremony of the Goesan International Organic EXPO 2022
and their global recognition is continuously growing.
In this tour concert in Thailand, BASEUS CREW will enthrall the audience with the harmonious combination of K-Pop, B-boying, and beat boxing as well as their Space Trip performance.
The Korean traditional Gugak team who will stage a crossover performance
with the two breaking teams is called ‘JeongGaAkHoe.’
JeongGaAkHoe is made up of entertainers, singers, drummers, and trumpeters. They have been contributing to the modernization of Gugak and promoting its appeal through their energetic and constant performances.
The team who has been promoting Korean traditional music around the world
by appearing in several overseas performances and TV programs
will stage a crossover performance combining K-breaking and Korean traditional music.

is taking place in the Future Park Rangsit Zpell Shopping Mall, Bangkok, Thailand on October 2!
