  The Korean Culture and Information Service’s Korean Culture Scene promotes Korean culture in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Centers abroad. The Korean Culture Scene holds various Korean culture festivals around the world as well as promoting Korean culture contents that can be enjoyed online. Among them, the key project of the Korean Culture Scene 2022 is its touring performance and exhibition. In the midst of the Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong holding a variety of festivals centered around K-Pop, the Korean Culture Scene’s touring exhibition <K-Pop, Now Here> has now come to Hong Kong!   재외한국문화원과 함께 한국문화를 소개하는 해외문화홍보원 Korean Culture Scene Korean Culture Scene은 온라인에서 즐길 수 있는 한국문화 콘텐츠뿐 아니라 현지에서도 다양한 해외한국문화축제를 진행하고 있습니다. 그중 2022 Korean Culture Scene의 핵심 프로젝트는 바로 순회공연과 순회전시라고 볼 수 있는데요. 주홍콩한국문화원이 케이팝을 중심으로 다양한 축제들을 펼치고 있는 가운데 이번에는 Korean Culture Scene 순회전시 <케이팝, 지금 여기>가 홍콩을 찾아왔습니다! Korean Culture Scene 순회전시 <케이팝, 지금 여기>는 50년이 넘는 케이팝의 역사를 조명하는 전시회로 다양한 실감형 콘텐츠로 케이팝을 즐길 수 있습니다. MOVE, WAVE, CREATIVE 3개의 키워드를 중심으로 케이팝의 기원부터 과거, 현재, 미래까지 한자리에서 소개하는 전시회입니다. 디지털 매핑, 미디어 아트, 아이돌 등신대 등 인터랙티브 방식으로 구성된 <케이팝, 지금 여기>는 관람객들이 케이팝을 직접 체험하고 즐기며 시간적 흐름에 따른 케이팝을 경험할 수 있습니다. 11월 18일부터 26일까지 주홍콩한국문화원에서 열리는 <케이팝, 지금 여기>에서 케이팝의 모든 것을 확인해보세요. <케이팝, 지금 여기> 전시회는 1950-80년대 ‘변곡의 물결’부터 케이팝의 흐름이 시작됩니다. 한국 대중음악의 중요한 순간들을 담은 시대별 사진과 영상을 감상하면서 케이팝의 근본과 당시 한국의 역사까지 만날 수 있습니다. 1990-2000년대 ‘다양성의 물결’에서는 한국 대중음악의 본격적인 성장을 확인할 수 있습니다. ‘H.O.T’, ‘서태지와 아이돌’ 등 아이돌 그룹의 출현과 함께  새롭게 탄생한 케이팝 팬덤 문화를 소개하고 ‘방탄소년단’, ‘블랙핑크’ 등 현재 큰 인기를 얻고 있는 케이팝 가수들의 활동을 인터랙티브 방식으로 감상할 수 있습니다. <케이팝, 지금 여기>

  The popularity of Korean culture growing from day to day! While various areas of Korean culture are surging in popularity, it would be fair to say that K-Pop is the most loved one.  Since K-Pop is not merely Korea’s idol music but has been created through numerous inflection points and innovative changes, it would not be too much to say that it is a form of culture that embraces Korean history. In a bid to promote K-Pop and a multitude of aspects of Korean culture embedded within it, the KOCIS (Korean Culture and Information Service) has been holding a touring exhibition <K-Pop, Now Here> as part of the Korean Culture Scene 2022. Following its tour in Vietnam and Belgium, the exhibition <K-Pop, Now Here> hosted by the KOCIS Korean Culture Scene is to be held at the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand located in Bangkok for three months from October 31 (Monday), 2022 to January 31 (Tuesday), 2023.   나날이 커져가는 한국문화의 인기! 다양한 분야의 한국문화가 인기를 끌고 있지만 가장 큰 사랑을 받고 있는 문화는 역시 케이팝이 아닐까 싶은데요. 케이팝은 단순히 한국의 아이돌 음악이 아닌 다양한 변곡점과 획기적인 전환을 거쳐 탄생한 한국의 역사를 담고 있는 하나의 문화라고 해도 과언이 아닙니다. 케이팝과 그 안에 담긴 무수한 한국문화를 알리고자 KOCIS(해외문화홍보원) Korean Culture Scene은  2022 해외한국문화축제 <케이팝, 지금 여기> 순회전시를 진행하고 있습니다. 베트남, 벨기에에 이어 KOCIS X Korean Culture Scene  <케이팝, 지금 여기> 전시회가 이번에는 2022년 10월 31일(월)부터 내년 1월 31일(화)까지 3개월간 태국 방콕에 위치한 주태국한국문화원에서 열립니다. 주태국한국문화원은 K-Pop Lover’s Night, 케이팝 커버댄스 페스티벌, 러브 코리아 페스티벌, 한국문화주간 등을 통해 이미 많은 케이팝 행사들을 진행해 왔는데요. 매번 케이팝 관련 행사들을 성황리에 개최해온 만큼 이번 <케이팝, 지금 여기> 전시회도 태국 현지에서 굉장한 호응을 불러일으킬 것이라 예상하고 있습니다. 주태국한국문화원과 해외문화홍보원이 함께하는 <케이팝, 지금 여기> 세련된 팝 사운드와 화려한 퍼포먼스가 곁들여지는 케이팝 아이돌 음악은  한국 대중음악 전체를 보았을 땐 일부에 불과하지만  산업적인 면에서 그 비중은 가히 압도적입니다. 케이팝을 둘러싸고 음악, 산업, 사회 세 가지 차원의 다양한 관점이 존재하기에  케이팝은 사회 반영이자 흐름이며, 한국의 민족성과 사회성을 잘 나타내고 있는 문화라고도 할 수 있습니다. <케이팝, 지금 여기> 전시는 바로 이런 케이팝 문화와 지금의 한국사회를 만들어낸 새로운 시선에서부터 시작된  케이팝의 흐름을 확인할 수 있는 전시회입니다. 주태국한국문화원 해외한국문화축제 <케이팝, 지금 여기> 전시회는 총 6개 영역으로
