Enjoyed around the world, Korea Contents Week of the Global Korean Culture Festival, has started.

As the Global Korean Culture Festival marks its first year,
many of you may be unaware of Korea Contents Week.
Hosted by the Korean Culture and Information Service of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korea Contents Week
aims to share Korean culture with the world in an easier and more fun way.
There will be various events related to Korean culture with Korean Cultural Centers in seven countries,
as well as Korean cultural contents online. 


Although Korea is rising in status
by gaining popularity from Korean dramas, K-POP, and movies,
interest in Korean culture is still focused on pop culture.

This is why KOCIS aims to share various unique aspects of Korean culture
with the Korea Contents Week of the Global Korean Culture Festival.
The Global Korean Culture Festival is being held in Korean Cultural Centers in seven countries, including Los Angeles in the USA, Belgium, France, Hong Kong, Russia, Vietnam, and Kazakhstan.
The festival is gaining traction from the local community.


Korea Contents Week of the Global Korean Culture Festival 
offers various events.

Seven Korean Cultural Centers have partnered up with related organizations
to provide a richer and a greater range of cultural contents.
There will be locations for everyone to experience industries related to Korean culture, including beauty, nature, and Korean food,
providing all Hallyu-related industries opportunities to enter foreign countries.

Hangeul, Korean food, K-POP, and Korean traditional culture
will deliver a warm message of comfort
to everyone who is tired from COVID-19.

Korea Contents Week of the Global Korean Culture Festival 
will also release online videos that will make you feel like you are at the site of Korean culture.
The unique and charming videos, with the goal to share the beauty and value of Korean culture,
tell five different stories with the five different topics of “Charm, Breath, Life, Spirit, and Dream.” 

The videos will be available on the official website of the Korea Contents Week of the Global Korean Culture Festival 
and the official YouTube channel of the Korean Culture and Information Service.
Subtitles will be available
for many people around the world to enjoy, so please stay tuned!
