The touring exhibition <K-POP, Now Here> has come to Belgium following its tour in Vietnam!

The exhibition <K-POP, Now Here> in Belgium will be an opportunity to introduce everything about K-POP, which is Korean popular music led by idol singers.

The exhibition <K-POP, Now Here> taking place under its theme ‘Singing about love and freedom for half a century’ will be held in the Korean Cultural Center in Belgium located in Brussels from October 26 to December 21.

With a focus on the three key words ‘Move, Wave, and Creative,’ the exhibition is designed to promote K-POP which is making constant changes in line with global trends from various perspectives such as music, industry, and society.

K-POP has gone through constant changes over time and is not easy to define simply as a genre or style.

The Korean Culture and Information Service’s Korean Culture Scene is holding the tour exhibition <K-POP, Now Here> to make it easy to understand what K-Pop actually is.

The exhibition <K-POP, Now Here> begins with the ‘Flexible Wave’ from the 1950s to 1980s.

K-Pop continues to flow at this moment and has been flowing while evolving into a contemporary popular culture by merging and balancing processes from its beginnings to the present.

Experience the early beginnings and symbolic moments of Korean popular music in the 1950s-1980s through digital photos.

K-Pop in the 1990s-2000s experienced successful international growth by merging with various kinds of popular culture and integrating a variety of new musical efforts that had never been done before.

Come and experience the ‘Colorful Wave’ that shows how the term ‘idol’ and the ‘K’ words were coined in the era of cultural diversity through various media arts and project mapping.

The Korean Culture and Information Center’s Korean Culture Scene has set up a world fandom map and idol standee photo zones to make the exhibition more interactive, improving visitors’ experience and enjoyment of K-Pop.

By touching a nation marked on the world fandom map, you can see information about popular idol singers and their fandoms of the relevant country.

In the exhibition <K-POP, Now Here> hosted by the Korean Culture and Information Service’s Korean Culture Scene, you can also appreciate the ‘Next Wave,’ a future of K-POP that is creating a new culture by communicating with future generations from around the world.

Come and experience video art in realistic content that expresses communication among future generations leading a new culture through K-Pop.

Visit ‘I am Here with K-POP,’ where you can take and print photos of visitors who are communicating and having fun with each other, and decorate the site with the photos!
