[Korea Contents Week] Online Event “Chicken Fight Puzzle” (February 9 – 17)

 

The Korean Cultural Information and Service (KOCIS) aims to share the beauty of Korean culture with the world. 
KOCIS has organized various online and offline festivals and events 
with Korea Contents Week to share Korean culture with the world.

KOCIS has shared many different aspects of Korean culture 
ranging from clothes, food, and games.

In hopes to better familiarize the world with 
the diverse aspects of the food and beauty of Korea, 
Korean Contents Week (KOCOWEEK) has prepared various online events.


KOCIS has made great ongoing efforts 
to share the true beauty of Korea hidden behind borders.

Even today, KOCIS continues to do its best 
to introduce Korean cultural items in a brief and fun way.

As part of these efforts, KOCOWEEK will be introducing 
its third online event to share Korean culture, “Chicken Fight Puzzle.”


The online event brought to you by KOCOWEEK of KOCIS is the
“Watch the Chicken Fight Video and Solve the Puzzle” event.

Chicken fight is an old traditional game of Korea, 
where you stand on one foot with the other in your hand, as you knock over and try to make the opponent fall. 

You hop on one foot as you use only your body to push the opponent off balance, causing them to fall. This is called a chicken fight because standing on one leg resembles a standing chicken.


Here’s how you can participate in the online event “Chicken Fight Puzzle!”

From Wednesday, February 9, to Thursday, February 17, 
watch the “Chicken Fight” video on the official KOCOWEEK YouTube channel to find the hint,
and like the event post on the official KOCIS Instagram account (@kocoweek).

Then, leave a comment on the event post 
including the answer, your name in English, and your e-mail address, and you’re all set!

Remember! Only the comments on the KOCOWEEK Instagram account will be counted as entries!
