The Korean Culture and Information Service’s Kculturescene has been promoting the charms of Korean culture around the world!

The Kculturescene has been promoting the unique Korean culture around the world through the Korean Culture Scene touring performance and exhibition, in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Center in each country.

Following its touring exhibition <K-Pop, Now Here> that’s still underway with huge success, the Kculturescene touring performance is now coming to Belgium.

You can experience another dynamic aspect of Korean culture in the touring performance <Meet the World, Center of the World> that’s taking place in Belgium at 7PM on November 20 (Sunday).

<Meet the World, Center of the World>
The Kculturescene touring performance offers you an amazing opportunity to see the unique encounter between breaking that’s been now established as a form of modern Korean art and Gugak which is a traditional Korean art.

You can feel the Korean spirit and excitement in this unique performance that combines K-breaking, a new leading aspect of Hallyu, with the dynamic rhythms of traditional Gugak.

Please visit the <Meet the World, Center of the World> taking place in Belgium and experience the fantastic breaking performance by Korea’s national dance troupe ‘JINJO Crew,’ and the world champion ‘Honor Breakerz,’ as well as the beautiful Gugak rhythms created by ‘Jeong Ga Ak Hoe!’

The Kculturescene touring performance in Belgium <Meet the World, Center of the World> will present the audience with an impressive performance through harmonious combinations between tradition and modernity, the East and the West, and moves and sounds.

The crossover fusion performance between breaking and Gugak is a unique performance that cannot be seen elsewhere.

Dynamic breaking performed to the dynamic sounds of fusion Gugak played by Jeong Ga Ak Hoe will create an impressive stage where you can experience the special charms of Korean culture.

‘Jeong Ga Ak Hoe,’ a Gugak team that’s been promoting Gugak around the world with its various moves and performances, is participating in the touring performance in Belgium and collaborating with Korea’s top breaking crews, following its performance in Thailand, Vietnam, and the UK.

‘Jeong Ga Ak Hoe’ makes efforts to deliver to the audience a more accessible form of Gugak by making various pursuits to reinterpret the style and create fusion Gugak that fits with modern culture.

In this Kculturescene touring performance in Belgium, the team will present the audience with a more dynamic and exciting performance by collaborating with Korea’s top b-boying crews ‘JINJO Crew’ and ‘Honor Breakerz’ belonging to the Korean Federation of DanceSport (KFD).

Participating in the touring performance in Belgium, ‘JINJO Crew’ has won the b-boying grand slam for the first time in the world and maintained its top global spot for years.
