[KOCIS X Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam] the opening of ‘Korea-Vietnam Friendship Culture Day’
Korean Culture Scene co-hosted by the Korean Culture and Information Service and the Korean Cultural Centers Abroad!
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Vietnam, the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam and the Korean Culture and Information Service have been holding Korean culture events in several provinces of Vietnam throughout this year.
Starting from this February, cultural events took place in three provinces, namely, Binh Duong, Quang Nam, and Quang Ninh. In late October, various events such as Korean Culture Day Festival, Korean Literature and Theatre Festival, Meeting with Korean Authors, and Korean Culture Golden Bell Competition are scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City.

You can experience and enjoy various Korean culture events and performances during the ‘‘Korea-Vietnam Friendship Culture Day’ that is taking place at the September 23rd Park, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City for three days from October 28 (Friday) to October 30 (Sunday), 2022.
The Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam is going to offer a chance for Vietnamese locals to experience Korean tradition, culture, sightseeing, contents, literature, Hanbok, Hangeul, and food in a bid to promote Korean culture throughout the country.
The ‘Korea-Vietnam Friendship Culture Day’ taking place in Ho Chi Minh City for three days from October 28 is full of events that anyone who’s interested in Korean culture can participate in.
Come and experience Korean culture through various experience booths such as information about sightseeing in Korea and Vietnam, popular culture content, and traditional foods.
There are also fun events prepared for visitors to participate in such as a cross-word puzzle and a Korean drama quiz.
The Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam has organized performances and events related to K-Pop, one of the most loved features of Korean culture in Vietnam.
You can enjoy various K-Pop collaboration stage shows such as a special dance performance by a K-Pop academy, K-Pop random dance, traditional Korea-Vietnam music, and a K-Pop DJ performance.
The main event of ‘Korea-Vietnam Friendship Culture Day’ <Meet the World, Center of the World> is to be held at 7.30 PM on October 29 (Saturday).
In the <Meet the World, Center of the World> co-hosted by the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam and the Korean Culture and Information Service, Korea’s top break dancing teams ‘Fusion MC’ and ‘One Way Crew’ and the traditional Gugak team ‘Jeong Ga Ak Hoe’ will be presenting unique performances.
Come and check out the dynamic charms of the world class Korean break dancing culture and traditional Gugak in the Korean Culture and Information Service X Kculturescene touring performance!
You can enjoy the unique combination of Gugak and K-Pop at the DAOOM X K-Pop Random Dance performance taking place at 4 PM on October 29 (Saturday).
You can also see many different Korea-Vietnam cultural exchange performances on October 30 (Sunday).
The performances include BIG DADDY & EMILY, SUNI HA LINH, LUX (Vietnamese traditional performance team), DAOOM, and DJ CHADOLL.
It is expected that the friendship between Korea and Vietnam will become stronger through these various cultural exchange performances such as K-V pop, Taekwondo demonstrations, Korea-Vietnam traditional music, and K-Pop concerts.
