The KCULTURESCENE that is fascinating the whole world. Korean culture including Korean dramas and films as well as K-pop has now positioned itself as one of the global cultural categories. Among many others, there is a newly emerging culture that began in Korean and is now leading the world with its name originally coined in Korea. It is ‘Webtoon’ that refers to digital cartoons. Many K-webtoon companies that have grown based on the uniqueness and charms of webtoons are entering the global market. ‘Webtoon’ used to be contents that only had appeal within Korea but it has now transcended the borders of Korea and is expanding into the global market. In fact, Kakao Webtoon proved its popularity by being ranked first in the webtoon category as soon as it branched out into the Thai market.   전 세계인들을 사로잡고 있는 케이컬쳐씬, K-pop을 넘어 한국 드라마, 영화 등의 한국문화는 이제 하나의 세계적 문화 카테고리로 완전히 자리잡았습니다. 그중에서도 한국에서 유래한 단어이자 문화로 세계를 이끌어가고 있는 새로운 문화가 있습니다. 바로 디지털 만화를 지칭하는 ‘웹툰’입니다. 웹툰이 가지고 있는 특수성과 매력으로 성장한 많은 K-웹툰 업체들이 해외로 진출하고 있습니다. 한국만의 콘텐츠였던 ‘웹툰’은 이제 한국을 넘어  세계 시장으로 뻗어나가며 많은 사랑을 받고 있습니다.  실제로 태국에 진출한 카카오 웹툰은 진출과 동시에 웹툰 분야 1위를 차지하며 그 인기를 증명했는데요. 웹툰의 인기가 날로 더해져 가고 있는 태국에서 주태국한국문화원과 케이컬쳐씬이 카카오 웹툰과 함께 <K-웹툰 전시회>를 성황리에 개최하고 있습니다. 해외문화홍보원 케이컬쳐씬과 함께하는 <K-웹툰 전시회>는 2022년 10월 10일부터 2023년 1월 31일까지 진행됩니다.  태국 카카오 웹툰에서 인기리에 연재되고 있는 웹툰들을 체험형 전시로 만나볼 수 있는 특별한 기회입니다. 이번 전시회는 주태국한국문화원이 제작한 태국 참전용사를 소재로 한 웹툰을 만나볼 수 있어  더욱 의미 있는 시간이 되고 있습니다.  주태국한국문화원 홈페이지와 태국 카카오 웹툰에서 연재 중인 <어느 날, 내가 사랑하는 아이돌 그룹 리더가 사라졌다>는 6·25전쟁에 참전했던 태국 참전용사의 희생을 기리고 그 역사적 의미를 되새겨줄 뜻깊은 웹툰인데요. 웹툰 내 아이돌 이름인 ‘리틀 타이거’ 역시 한국전쟁 당시 용맹하게 싸워준 태국군을 지칭하던 칭호로 한국의 역사와 K-POP 등의 문화를 동시에 전달하고 있습니다. 주태국한국문화원과 케이컬쳐씬은 이 웹툰과 K-웹툰 전시회가 한국과 태국의 문화, 역사적 가교로서 양국 문화교류에 큰 힘을 실어줄 것이라 희망하고 있습니다. 지난 10월 10일, 주태국한국문화원에서 열린 K-웹툰 전시회 개막식에서는 다양한 웹툰 행사가 진행되었습니다. &

Korean Culture Scene이 준비한 이번 10월 축제는 가을의 정취를 한껏 느낄 수 있는 축제들로 준비되어 있어 더욱 많은 분들의 기대를 모으고 있습니다.  2022년 10월, 벨기에에서 펼쳐질 Korean Culture Scene 어떤 한국문화가 벨기에를 사로잡을지 함께 만나볼까요?  벨기에에서 만날 10월의 첫 번째 SOUND KOREA 2022는 재즈 보컬리스트 ‘말로’의 공연입니다.  10월 13일 오후 8시, 한국문화원에서 열리는  말로의 재즈 콘서트는 무료로 진행됩니다.  ‘말로’는 재즈의 꽃이라고 할 수 있는 ‘스캇’으로 유명한 보컬리스트로 많은 평론가와 팬들에게 진정성 있는 목소리로 사랑받고 있는데요.  뛰어난 보컬 실력뿐 아니라 작곡가와 프로듀서로도 정평이 나 있는 만능 재주꾼으로 이미 매진된 표가 한국 음악의 벨기에 내 인기를 확인시켜주고 있습니다. 10월, 벨기에에서 열리는 Korean Culture Scene이 소개할 두 번째 공연은 바이올리니스트 클라라 주미 강과 피아니스트 김선욱의 콘서트입니다.  수많은 국제 콩쿠르에서 수상한 클라라 주미 강은 무려 5살에 함부르크 심포니 오케스트라와 협연하며 데뷔한 연주가로 아시아와 유럽 전역의 주요 오케스트라와 지휘자들과  꾸준히 협연하며 활발한 활동을 이어가고 있습니다. 김선욱은 2006년 리즈 국제 피아노 콩쿠르에서  40년 만에 탄생한 최연소 우승자이자 아시아 최초 우승자로 이후 세계 유수의 오케스트라들과 함께 하며  당대 최고의 피아니스트로서 명성을 쌓았습니다. 10월 19일 오후 8시, Flagey, Studio 1에서 펼쳐지는 SOUND K

  영국에서 펼쳐지는 KOREAN CULTURE SCENE! 이번에는 런던에 한류가 찾아왔습니다! 주영한국문화원 X 해외문화홍보원 <한류! 코리안 웨이브> 처음으로 한국 대중문화를 다각도로 조망하는 전시가 22년 9월 24일부터 23년 6월 25일까지 영국 런던 빅토리아 앤 앨버트 박물관에서 개최됩니다. 영국 런던에 위치한 빅토리아 앤 앨버트 박물관(V&A)은 세계에서 가장 큰 규모를 자랑하는 장식·디자인 미술관입니다. 연간 400만 명이 찾는 세계 최고 수준의 미술, 디자인,  퍼포먼스 박물관으로 평가받는 V&A 박물관은 약 280만 점의 전 세계 소장품을 보유하고 있는데요.
