  ‘Korean Culture Scene’ co-hosted by the Korean Culture and Information Service and the Korean Cultural Centers abroad! This year, the Korean Culture Scene is taking place in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Centers in Vietnam, Hong Kong, the UK, Hungary, Belgium, and Thailand . Various events tailored for each culture  by considering the most loved aspects of Korean culture in the local area have been organized for the festival. Throughout the world, various events of the Korean Culture Scene already took place with huge success. Let’s check out the events that have been held around the world.  In Vietnam, Korean culture festivals with different themes have taken place in different provinces of Vietnam such as Binh Duong, Quang Nam, and Quang Ninh since February this year. Also, the Korean Culture Scene’s touring exhibition <K-POP, Now Here> and the touring performance <Meet the World, Center of the World> held in October were successfully concluded with enthusiasti

  해외문화홍보원과 재외한국문화원이 주관하는 해외한국문화축제 Korean Culture Scene! 올해는 베트남, 홍콩, 영국, 헝가리, 벨기에, 태국 6개 한국문화원과 함께 하고 있는데요. 각 나라의 특색에 맞춰 현지에서 선호하는 한국문화를 중심으로 한 다채로운 현지 행사들로 해외한국문화축제가 펼쳐지고 있습니다. 이미 해외 곳곳에서는 해외한국문화축제  Korean Culture Scene의 다양한 행사들이  성황리에 진행되었는데요. 6개 나라 및 지역 현지에서 열린  다채로운 해외한국문화축제 행사들을 살펴볼까요? 베트남에서는 올해 2월부터 특색 있는 베트남 지방성  빈즈엉, 꽝남, 꽝닌 등을 찾아가 다양한 주제의 한국해외문화축제를 진행했습니다. 또한 10월에 열린 Korean Culture Scene 순회전시 <K-POP, Now Here>과 순회공연인 <Meet the World, Center of the World>까지 베트남 현지인들의 많은 사랑을 받으며 성황리에 끝마쳤습니다. 헝가리에서는 8월부터 10월까지  전통문화와 관련된 해외한국문화축제 프로그램이 주를 이루며  색다른 한국 문화를 알리는데 집중했는데요. 8월 헝가리 국가민속유산축제에서는 한국 전통 공예품과 전통공연을, 9~10월 코리안 클래식 데이즈에서는 ‘과거와 현재의 만남: 아름다운 동행’이라는 주제하에  전통을 현대적으로 재해석한 한국 음악들을 만날 수 있는  해외한국문화축제 프로그램을 선보이며 큰 인기를 끌었습니다. 영국에서는 다양한 분야의 한국 문화를 소개하는 해외한국문화축제들이 영국 곳곳에서 펼쳐졌습니다. 벨파스트에서는 6∙25 전쟁일 기념 하우스 콘서트와  워킹투어 및 한국문화의 날을 개최하였고 에든버러 프린지 페스티벌, 스타워브리지 국제유리공예축제 등 세계적인 축제와 연계하여 한국의 문화를 종합적으로 소개했습니다. 런던에서는 9월부터 V&A 박물관 한류 전시회와 연계해 다채로운 한국 문화를 영국 현지에 소개하고 있기도 합니다. 벨기에에서는 다양한 장르

  The popularity of Korean culture growing from day to day! While various areas of Korean culture are surging in popularity, it would be fair to say that K-Pop is the most loved one.  Since K-Pop is not merely Korea’s idol music but has been created through numerous inflection points and innovative changes, it would not be too much to say that it is a form of culture that embraces Korean history. In a bid to promote K-Pop and a multitude of aspects of Korean culture embedded within it, the KOCIS (Korean Culture and Information Service) has been holding a touring exhibition <K-Pop, Now Here> as part of the Korean Culture Scene 2022. Following its tour in Vietnam and Belgium, the exhibition <K-Pop, Now Here> hosted by the KOCIS Korean Culture Scene is to be held at the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand located in Bangkok for three months from October 31 (Monday), 2022 to January 31 (Tuesday), 2023.
